Shopping-Bargains.com and Shopping-Bargains.co.uk are now HACKER SAFE certified by ScanAlert. Both sites are now tested and certified daily to pass the HACKER SAFE Security Scan.

We take the security and privacy of our shoppers very seriously and have devoted extra resources into working with reputable security and trust services like those from ScanAlert, and for Shopping-Bargains.com, the Better Business Bureau through the BBBOnline. Not only do these services visually enhance our shoppers’ sense of security through clickable “trust badges,” they also provide independent evidence that monitors our public reputation. Clicking the ScanAlert and BBBOnline “trust badges” points shoppers to real-time status reports that independently publish and validate our trust and/or security claims.

To help address concerns about hacker access to confidential data, the “live” HACKER SAFE mark appears only when a web site meets the HACKER SAFE standard. According to ScanAlert, “research indicates sites remotely scanned for known vulnerabilities on a daily basis, such as those earning HACKER SAFE certification, can prevent over 99% of hacker crime.”

As far as I know, we are the only coupon site with memberships in both these reputation-monitoring and security-reporting organizations.
